Efficient Solution-Processed Dendrimer OLEDs
Light-emitting dendrimers are a new distinct class of material for OLEDs. Dendrimers consist of a light-emitting core, dendrons and surface groups. Dendrimers are designed for solution coating and have a number of advantages over conjugated polymers. We report our recent results for solution processed green dendrimer OLEDs. The OLEDs were fabricated by spin-coating a blend of first generation d...
متن کاملSolubilised bright blue-emitting iridium complexes for solution processed OLEDs
Combining a sterically bulky, electron-deficient 2-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-4-(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)pyridine (dFMesppy) cyclometalating C4N ligand with an electron rich, highly rigidified 1,10-(a,a0-o-xylylene)-2,20biimidazole (o-xylbiim) N4N ligand gives an iridium complex, [Ir(dFMesppy)2(o-xylbiim)](PF6), that achieves extraordinarily bright blue emission (FPL = 90%; lmax = 459 nm in MeCN) for a...
متن کاملHighly-efficient solution-processed OLEDs based on new bipolar emitters.
A series of new bipolar solution-processable RGB materials are designed by considering the solubility, morphology, fluorescence efficiency and carriers balance. Solution-processable OLEDs are fabricated with high efficiencies, especially, the green TCBzC-based device shows the maximum luminous efficiency of 31.6 cd A(-1), which is among the best reported values.

متن کاملHighly efficient and low voltage silver nanowire-based OLEDs employing a n-type hole injection layer.
Highly flexible and efficient silver nanowire-based organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have been successfully fabricated by employing a n-type hole injection layer (HIL). The silver nanowire-based OLEDs without light outcoupling structures exhibited excellent device characteristics such as extremely low turn-on voltage (3.6 V) and high current and power efficiencies (44.5 cd A(-1) and 35.8 l...
